Back from a lovely holiday

Hello all,  we’ve just came back from a lovely holiday.  We went to couple of places (Dharamshala,  McLeodganj and Bir) in Himachal pradesh.  It was absolutely beautiful.

It was about 250km,  which took us 6.5 hours by car. The baby car seat is getting really old,  and foamfilling of the seat comes of. So,  the day before we went on holiday,  I spent my time making seat belt covers.  Finished just in time, and they look very cute and comfy.

The next morning we left for Dharamshala. My husband was driving,  so I was next to him working on my projects.  (the manscarf and c2c baby blanket).

We arrived in the evening at a friend’s house,  where we would stay for couple of days.  The house and view from the house were incredible.  With the c2c in my lap,  I enjoyed the evening in the garden.

Later 2 other friends arrived and we took off to Bir. Had great fun, saw a lot of beautiful places and did serious shopping.

Last day of the holiday I scored some yarn. Two Browns, Grey and blue were local yarn, pure wool. Thinking to try mittens with these skeins. Some sparkling yarn I also got.

Back from our trip, we visited my sister in law and her family. They’re moving to another town, and we’re busy packing. My sis in law is also a crafter, she had a serious amount of ribbons, rope and such. She donated part of it to me. Happy Happy. I felt like a kid in a candy store.

Now back home. The manscarf is almost finished. Two rows and blocking is left. Then back to the baby blanket and starting with an Indian themed project me and my husband came up with. More on that next time..
